Sustainable development problems in IEU research

 

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in scientific activities are specific areas of research that help solve real problems of the modern world. They are a part of the United Nations’ plan to end poverty, protect the planet, and improve the lives and prospects of everyone by 2030. This plan contains 17 goals with 169 targets aimed at stimulating action in areas of critical importance to humanity and the environment.

The institutional profile of the University in the SCOPUS international database contains 182 scientific publications as of the beginning of 2024, 117 of which contain research outputs related to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, with 64 of them being related to Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good health and well-being. The published research by IEU scientists is related to solving problems under the 12 Sustainable Development Goals.
